LED Lights

In conclusion: why should you use LEDs?

Low amp draw
Your vehicle’s electrical system is already overburdened, and your conventional lighting system is part of the problem. LEDs can be part of the solution, drawing approximately 1/10th the power of a halogen strobe, they are extremely efficient.

LED visor lights are a great option because they're very compact, don't put out a lot of heat and require a very low amp draw Because LEDs are usually designed to be compact, they are excellent for stealthy, concealment applications, such as unmarked vehicles

Compact Design/Concealment Applications
LEDs are the ultimate in stealth warning power. Because of their compact design, LED warning lights can be used and concealed in ways that would be impossible with a conventional lighting system. Slim profile units are virtually invisible on your dash or deck, and visor styles fold completely out of sight. Even full-size lightbars may designed in such a way as to be practically invisible in highway applications.

Long Life
LEDs oulast conventional lights. In fact, if a light’s lifetime is ended by when the light output drops below 50% of the original spec, then an LED lifetime has a minimum of 100,000 hours. That’s the longest life of any lighting technology. In fact, few other lights exceed 10,000 hours.
1 Because they are solid state devices there are no moving parts to break and no filaments to burn out. The only time they will ever need to be replaced is if there is some sort of physical damage or bad electrical connection.

Versatility
LEDs offer versatile warning power by giving more flash patterns than conventional lights, and the ability to change flash patterns with the flick of button. No more disassembling your light to make a change.

Low maintenance
LEDs are almost maintenance free. No burnt out bulbs to replace and no motors or moving parts to break down. Solid state electronics offer substantial reliability. Sometimes for one reason or another you will lose one LED, but when that happens you won’t lose your warning power because each LED module is an independent part of the system. You replace only that module, not the entire lamp assembly. Also, batteries may last much longer before needing replacement. LEDs keep your vehicle out of the repair shop and on the street.

Concentrated beam
The concentrated beam makes LEDs brighter than conventional halogen or strobe lights. Through the use of mirrors and reflectors, now no matter what angle you’re viewing them from, you can’t hide from their concentrated bright light.

Why should you use LEDs?
Selecting warning lights can be difficult because of the endless choices … strobe, halogen, flash patterns, filter covers, takedowns, alleys, etc. Let LEDs be your easy choice with their bright, pure light, versatility, low mainenance, extremely long life (100,000 hours) and extraordinarily low amp draw.
